Dan started the business in 2016 as a mobile repair technician within a larger network. While he enjoyed the variety and flexibility of mobile repairs, he decided to seize an opportunity to develop from mobile smart repairs into a workshop capable of handling larger and more technical repairs.

Taking on the workshop gave Dan a chance to develop his skills and build on the successful reputation that he had cultivated while operating as a mobile repairer. Then joined by the other D in DDV - Debs came on board to help manage the paperwork and day to day running of the workshop.

It soon became apparent that we needed more staff to handle the workload and so Marc joined the team. An experienced spray painter who left the industry for while but was keen to return. Now our resident mini fanatic/workshop manager - he puts his experience to good use and enjoys using his artistic skills test on classic and custom jobs.

After the installation of our new spray booth came an ability to take on larger repairs and with the help of Lechler Coatings we have a great high quality paint system to use on those repairs. A relationship soon grew between Lechler and DDV with Marc and Dan visiting Lechler HQ for additional training as colourists bringing even more skills back to the workshop.

Since then we have built a great reputation amongst classic car owners, bikers, and cruisers for the ability to carry out complex repairs effectively, some stunning unique designs and repairing large bodywork damage. Day to day we pride ourselves on a quick, friendly and high quality service.
